Programming for both developmental and competitive athletes provides a bedrock for each participating athlete to achieve his or her best through three tiers of commitment: part-time, mid-week, and full-time.

Northstar Bike Park

The bike park at Northstar is the only lift-serviced bike park in Lake Tahoe. With a variety of trails and styles of terrain, you can fly down single track, burn your legs out climbing, or enjoy a leisurely pedal along peaceful cross-country paths. There is also instructional lessons available for those who want to improve their skills. Embedded amongst the pines just off the Village at Northstar you'll find eleven courts dedicated to tennis and pickle ball. Three pros head up programming at the Northstar Racquet Club, two of whom are former collegiate athletes. The Northstar Rec Center

For its members, the Northstar Property Owners Association Rec Center is an oasis of relaxation and wellness that is well-maintained, having just recently undergone a major renovation. With a fully-equipped fitness facility plus dry saunas and several outdoor spa options, members can head here for deep relaxation after a day on the ski hill in the winter or after the fun has concluded over at the adjacent racquet club. It should be noted that Northstar Village owners have their own dedicated fitness facilities in the Catamount and Iron Horse South buildings as well as in the Northstar Lodge just off the entrance to the Village promenade. 

Little Gems of the Sierra Daycare 

Located in the heart of the Village at Northstar, Little Gems is the perfect place to drop off your little ones if the need arises. The daycare center offers low child-to-staff ratios and a gentle approach guided by Waldorf principles. Tailored to meet the needs of children ages 18 months to 5 years, the programming focuses on rhythm, creativity, and holistic well-being. A typical day at Little Gems may include storytelling, outdoor exploration, music, art, movement, and imaginative play. Organic meals are prepared on the premises, sometimes with the help of the children to encourage self-sufficiency. Both weekday and weekend scheduling is offered with different packages to suite your family's needs. 

Northstar Golf Course

Designed by legendary landscape architect Robert Muir Graves, the Northstar Golf Course plays to a distance of 6,781 yards. It is an 18-hole, par-72 course which combines a rolling and rugged aesthetic with unique flow and challenge. Four tee locations open up the playability to a range of golfers. From marvelous Carson Range views to wooded fairway serenity, the Northstar Golf Course is one of the finest in North Lake Tahoe. 

The Village at Northstar

Brand name shopping, tasty eats, an ice skating rink, live music performances, fire pits, craft cocktails, s'mores, gravitational ski return—the Village at Northstar has it all. During the winter, the Village turns into a virtual snow globe with full-on aprés enjoyment.
