Bowl Incline, Incline Village, Nevada Occasionally during a ski vacation you just need a break from the cold outdoors and a break from those cramping ski boots. A fantastic option, that usually isn’t the first to come to mind, is to head to the bowling alley for some lively indoor entertainment. An afternoon at the bowling alley is fun for young and old alike and is an exciting way for family and friends to get together for some active recreation without needling multiple layers of clothing. With 16 bowling lanes and automatic scoring, the place to go in North Lake Tahoe for an outing at the lanes is Bowl Incline. Located in Incline Village at the corner of Incline Way and Southwood Boulevard, Bowl Incline has been serving the areas bowling needs for many years. The facility itself is great, and as a Tahoe classic, it provides more to do at the alley than just take aim at the pins. A full video arcade is a favorite of the kids, and will keep them happy as long as their supply of quarters doesn’t run dry. Similarly, an old fashioned wrap around bar is a favorite spot for the adults, whose bowling games seem to rely on the beer supply not running dry. 6 pool tables offer another option for some friendly competition, and a full swing golf simulator can give you that wintertime golf fix when the snow is piled up on the fairways outside. Prices are very friendly, as are the members of staff that will outfit you with all your bowling needs. A huge selection of rental shoes and bowling balls are available for the recreational bowler, and experts can find everything they’re looking for in their full service Pro Shop. They do fitting and drilling of equipment on site, and lessons are available for those who are looking to improve. For those who don’t care about form or technique and want to eliminate gutter balls all together, Bowl Incline offers bumper bowling, and it’s a sure way to raise your final score. We had a blast during our recent winter bowling outing. Enjoy the photos below and keep bowling in mind the next time you’re looking to take a break from the slopes.
