Squaw Valley, California Today is the final day of the Made in Tahoe Festival in The Village at Squaw Valley. This festival celebrates and showcases the creative talents of local artisans, craftsmen, musicians, chefs and all people that create in the Tahoe area. It's a celebration of all things local. Vendors have booths setup throughout the Village with handmade goods of all types on display and for sale. From apparel, home goods and artwork to handmade snowboards and skateboards, the array of items "made in tahoe" is worth checking out. Bands and musicians take to the main stage in the center of the Village throughout the day to show of their talents. The atmosphere is energetic and a feeling of Tahoe Pride is unmistakeable. Memorial Day weekend is the official kickoff to summer, and there aren't many places better than Tahoe to enjoy the summer.
