Las Vegas, NV Carr Long Real Estate has returned from Las Vegas! With the winter season fast approaching, the entire office recently took an opportunity to take a brief escape to Las Vegas for some much needed relaxation after a long and busy summer. Monday, September 22 Carr Long Real Estate, with one office at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe and another office in The Village at Northstar, is open seven days a week for twelve months a year. This doesn’t let the team get together very often, which is why it was so amazing to get together for the trip. Weeks of planning led to a great trip, which was kicked off when the team flew out of Reno International Airport early Monday morning. The view flying into Las Vegas is always special, and it was a real treat for the team members who hadn’t been there before. After breezing through the airport and arriving at the Wynn Las Vegas, the Carr Long team headed to the PBR Rock Bar & Grill and to check out the strip. After some friendly competition featuring the west coast team members against the east cost members, it was back to the hotel to get dressed for dinner at the trendy Stack restaurant (featuring Chef Brian Massie) in The Mirage Hotel. Then immediately after dinner the team walked down to the Mirage showrooms for the main act of the night- The Beatles LOVE, which was an amazing Cirque du Soleil Show. Performers twirled and danced in sync to John, Paul, George, and Ringo’s recording’s that certainly left a great lasting impression on everyone who was enjoying the feature. Then after the show the team walked back to the Wynn Resort to meet with Don, who had travelled down from Reno on a later flight. Once the entire team was situated the Wynn showrooms and the XS Nightclub was the next destination, where the team had obtained pre-tickets for the evening. It was sure to be a memorable evening when the team found out that the house DJ that night was none other than the famous musician Skrillex, whose real name is Sonny John Moore. The winner of six Grammy Awards so far, he has become a world famous DJ specializing in electronic-dance music production. Fittingly, going from a show about the Beatles musical era before then attending a party hosted by a famous electronic DJ made the Carr Long team feel very music savvy and accomplished that this trip was ideally exclusive and special. Tuesday, September 23 With all the activities packed into one day, the next day was relaxed with a slower pace to allow the team members to enjoy themselves. While some of the team enjoyed the pool and spa, others appreciated walking around the resort and savored the other luxurious amenities. In an all too quick feeling, the time to head back to the airport quickly arrived and it was time to head home back to Lake Tahoe. Photo Gallery
