Like many East Coast transplants, the decision to move west was an easy one after laying eyes on the Sierra for the first time. The transition would prove even easier coming from the long winters endured growing up in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia. Prior to migrating, I had been living in New York City where I attended New York University. After ten years of many New York minutes I decided it was time for a change.
