Raised in Utah, I knew early on that I had a drive and passion for life that some people never know. I took those traits to the skating rink where I was recognized as 9thin the nation in the competitive figure skating world at age 13. I also fell in love with the mountains, climbing and snowboarding. My love for these sports kept me in Utah where I graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Marketing and met my future husband, Josh. In 2002, we moved to Truckee and fell in love with Tahoe life. Our mutual passion for the outdoors, sports and performance wear design enabled us to build a business representing the global lifestyle brand Oakley in Northern California/Northern Nevada and were recognized as 2002 Rookie of the Year Top Sales Performance in North America.
In 2004 my interest turned to commercial design and real estate. My experience in sales, marketing and design with a global brand like Oakley was a natural fit for commercial village strategy, specializing in destination resort markets. I obtained my real estate brokers license and launched my career in commercial real estate by curating dynamic village experiences that showcase the mountain lifestyle and local community. I worked with two of Lake Tahoe’s most prestigious ski resorts, The Village at Northstar & The Village at Squaw Valley, resulting collectively in $38+ MM in annual village gross sales.
After 12 years in the commercial real estate world, my mind and heart were ready to be in service to others and my community in a new way. My passion has always been to create space for people to share priceless experiences, make precious memories and live the best of the Tahoe lifestyle. Helping people find their sacred space, their home in the mountains to do just that is my most rewarding work.
During the early years in the commercial development of the Village at Northstar, I got to know both Tori Long and Don Carr, who were working in the resort real estate sales office. I was very comfortable joining their team because of their firm’s culture of service to their clients and to the community.
My passion for meeting new people and my love and understanding of Tahoe is coupled with 18 years of sales experience which enable me to understand my clients’ needs and connect them with their dream property in an authentic way.
My dedication to honoring and preserving the Tahoe community and the environment is very real and runs deep. I have served as Executive Producer of the Shane McConkey Foundation for 8 years and counting, helping to raise over $300K for local programs.
I am devoted to health, wellness and making a difference. When not at work, you will find me with my husband and two beautiful daughters riding bikes, skiing/snowboarding, surfing, camping and just generally enjoying Tahoe life, or at the yoga studio where I teach.
