The Perfect Fall Hike in Tahoe Donner

Tahoe Donner, California

We took a nature walk with dear friends and family last weekend in Tahoe Donner along the Alder Creek Road Trail. The vibrant colors of changing Aspen tree leaves left us awe struck as the Tahoe season slips from summer’s warm days into fall’s cooler temperatures. During our hike, the sounds of leaves shaking in the cool breeze reminded us that winter will soon be on its way.

Tahoe Donner has tons of amazing hiking and biking trails, and boasts an extensive trail system. More than thirty-five miles of these trails cover over 3,400 acres. The trail system also offers a variety of terrains, from meadow trails to the most scenic vista points of Donner Lake and Euer Valley.
