Ritz-Carlton Residences, Lake Tahoe, California The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Lake Tahoe hosted an exclusive event Saturday evening on the private 6th floor of the hotel. A collection of rare drawings from an impressive selection of artists were on display for guests to enjoy. The event was held in Residence 601, and original drawings from several masters of art were scattered throughout this impressive 4 bedroom residence. Included among the pieces on display were two drawings by Pablo Picasso and works by Nicolas Poussin and Jean Baptiste Frenet. Salon d' Art provided the wonderful works of art on display, and their charming and knowledgeable curator engaged with guests as they appreciated the art. Listening to two art experts discuss elements of a drawing is an enjoyable experience and an eye opening one. A trained eye notices and appreciates details an untrained eye will quickly overlook. The event was a big success and allowed for a simultaneous showing off of the art and The Residences. One of the guests commented that the residence itself was like a work of art. Guests enjoyed a selection of hors d'oeuvres and cocktails served up by the ladies and gentlemen of The Ritz-Carlton. The views of the Carson Range are incredible from 601, and the alpen glow on the mountain peaks was magical during this great event. Photo Gallery
